I think they meant "the one who is rich is your dad". they're just pointing out the irony since jian yi doesn't know his father is the one paying these guys to protect him and therefore kinda living in the flashy style that they do. :)

OH! my bad. And to answer, well Jian Yi’s father is He Cheng and Brother Qiu, along with a bunch of other underlings, boss. And how do u think He Cheng and Qiu get to love this lavish life?? by being paid by their current boss aka Mr. Jian as Qiu said in this chapter. Also in a previous chapter -i’m sorry i can’t remember the number- Brother Qiu brought Jian Yi a hugeeeeeee sum of money when his mother left, to take care of himself.. and the money, although unknown to Jian Yi, was likely from his father who knew he was home alone since he sent his guards over there to protect him and probably because Jian Yi’s mother told him.
Also most mafia bosses in the majority of comics tend to be rich lol. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
