Wait there’s so many things rushed here:
Like what the whale said to end the war?
What are the dark aspects that Legosi’s friend didn’t want to talk about that he was taught and how he’s going to remodel society’s perspective?
Yafya accepted the fish thing? If so, wouldn’t that be troublesome in the long run? What if they start to desire more fish and suddenly the sea doesn’t want to give more so they end in war or one being too dependant on the other?
And also, carnivores truly get a sense of “deepness” when they eat herbivores. Like with Legosi and Louis. Are herbivores rlly expecting them to behave? Doubt it. And even if they are considered criminals, some herbivores would still want to sell themselves or be eaten just because
And what of Haru’s promise to be eaten by Melon? Melon’s not dead. And he’s very astute. I don’t doubt he’d find his way out.
And the art is creepy I know I get it it’s hard but I’m used to it now so if they change the art it won’t be the same. Idk if I’d like to.
And what of the hybrid problem? I mean, sure they love each other they’d marry and have babies but god, hybrids have it bad. Talking about irresponsible parents the whole way. Even if they love their children, they are gonna be too fucked up to be properly loved, or to properly function as civilians. Look at the mom, at Melon, at all the kids that grandpa visits on Saturdays.
And while I’m on it, there was still this group about pure supremacy right? So, what will be with them? I’m sure they’d want to continue having pure groups and I’m good with that.
The transformation hybrids go by and all the trauma that comes with it(because having your body morphing ought to hurt I ain’t buying into the “it can be normalised” sh the manga intents to say) just I don’t think it’s worth it. I don’t think they should have children at all because—Melon scared me ok?! Going evil because you can’t taste and you have instincts and they are in a feud all the time inside you, that’s fucked up, ok. That’s fucked. Up. End.
And I really wanted to see a Legosi and Louis beastars duo and the council expecting the new Gosha and Yafya. And yafya explaining this and watching it unfolding like before. Idk, lots of potential there. Legosi still had a lot to grow and realise, he’s a special case, but dude, what if your child turns out to be a new Melon and you had to fight it? Damn that’s a plot I’d read to see how Legosi deals with it. I’m sorry for the rant hope they don’t really finish this I’ve read all chapters in like a week. I didn’t even thought I’d like it because I didn’t like tolerate the drawing at first.
Hybrid children's physical body or skin changes when they are older right? I thought Melon or Legosi would find some cure for that change. I like Legosi's Grandparents' love story. Their story is really lovely/bittersweet. But their daughter, Legosi's mother's life was just so sad. She didn't want Legosi to become like her so she get pregnant when she was young then killed her self when she changed fully. That is sad. Imagine the all hybrid kids that would face same difficulty in future. Melon has awful tattoos to hide his new skin.
I think that I am the only one who is happy that Louis didn't end up with Wolf girl. But right now I am so worried about Legosi/Haru's future children that i can't be happy for them. This changing problem is the only reason that I couldn't ship them.
Just wanted to tell you that you're not the only one happy that the Louis/Junon ship didn't sail. Junon deserved more storylines and character development, not to come back in the end just to get married or something. At least she was a little cool when she "cursed" Louis.
I strongly approve the main message, too. Wasted end, many plotholes, completely rushed, and I don't really feel satisfied. First half of the manga was (almost) perfect though.
On another note I kinda understand what the animators were doing here. They accept her now not because she just received a blessing (although that’s the primordial part) but because she’s white, like everyone else seems to be. So now she’s “not dangerous” and “normal”. Kinda genius. Kinda not. But I see their point. There’s some places still where being black is hard because it’s harder to be socially acceptable, and possibly, Asia has a lot of those places and they want to show us that this is not right, that the past is not erased and that it is wrong to accept people based on their color.
Changing it to 3 stars because the trama was good.

Itai-nee how-how-?! You can forget panties, but you never forget a SKIRT!!!!
I wear tights every day and I've definitely almost forgotten my shorts before like a lunatic, I think it would be much harder to forget underwear
