Ok so i would also like to know but i think-THINK, these two were actually a spin off couple of another couple that has a novel (kyle(bro) and blonde (nathanial? Daniel? I forget). So i think in that novel ash/carlyle had a run in that they referring to here but dont show in this story. My guess is ash may have been 2nd ml so when carlyle ran into him with blonde he was mad for his brother? I chose to ignore it though because i am jealouse and blonde doesnt hold a candlestick to my carlyle.
Tbh that's also theory that I thought of XD I mean it would make sense XD NGL tho I would loved to read the read the story between Kyle and His bf XD they seems interesting from the crumbs we had about them xd

I hate how nowadays side stories have just some weird unnecessary drama that doesn't bring anything to the story and just ruin the entire story. Side stories should be pure fluff bonus where we see the happy, good and nice moments between our characters, but instead we have weird drama and angst. Like how is this any necessary? If this was so damn important it should be in the main story, not in fucking side story.
And this is not the only story. So many manhwas, manga etc, BL, GL, Straight stories nowadays have side stories that brings more trouble and drama instead giving the satisfaction and fluff that readers could enjoy after seeing mostly struggle during the main stories.
