I love harlequin books and once in awhile I'll find gems, this was not one everyone was horrible. I should have just stopped reading it had a few tropes I don't like, I did this to myself lol.
Besides the foolishness I just read why the leads a pasty white color(white out). The Fl has a excuse she's sickly and didn't really leave the house. The Ml has none, he shitty and he almost the same color as his glove(double whammy lol). I hope this isn't like Abandoned Empress(comments r saying that) I dropped it after reading spoilers.
