I think the Prince and the artist remembers their past lives too. The artist left that jewelry in the shop for Ines to find. I think Prince personality is so different because he remembers the past and is trying to act differently in front of Ines. There was other things too that I can't remember now, I would have to reread. I could be reaching tho lol
Oh and when red head thought Ines was cheating on him with her cousin he brought up Carcel out of nowhere. Ines was even thinking it weird that he brought him up. I think it's because he remembered her first life married to Cancel. So in her second life he made sure he got her but was still insecure/jealous. I think he wanted the first time, got her then tortured her.
Another thing about the artist and the jewel, Ines said it belonged to her grandmother. In her third life with the painter I think she said they sold it or she gave it to him. So in this life it should be back with her family so how did he get. I think he made a replica of the one he remembered from before. This is all speculation more than likely I'm wrong I just really like this story.
