I thought it was just comedic effect that Tsugumi wasn’t reacting much—but it was definitely his way of “speaking his language” to megumi’s dad. Shows that he also has power over the situation, and not just the dad. Very fun little details throughout this chapter. I dare say it might have been worth the wait
