I feel the same way but, I also think he was drugged by someone else in order for him to go haywire and r@pe the person he was with. Cause from the chapter I just read, he's got enough control to at least resist and get a med shot.

What im getting from the dialogue is uncle doesn't want uke visiting him often since last time uke is sick after he travels. The uncle think he's the one troubling the uke. But uke feels like uncle is pushing him away–he didn't like that bcs top him, uncle is the one he feels closest to, uke also didn't like it when the uncle didn't tell the him the whole story about the wife and his personal matters. But silly uncle can't hide that he feels irritated when uke threatens to leave and marry someone.

idk I feel like artists give us facial cues to show when the ml is just trying to act cold because he’s insecure but they way they show this guy is weird. like to me his face looks mad annoyed whenever the mc does anything. I’ve read soooo many “ml is forced to pretend he doesn’t like the mc” but here they not showing any facial cues to show that after the mc leaves he actually regrets having to spew bs. like sure he can mean everything he said in the moment, but I never know about authors who show mls ACTUALLY annoyed by the mc. like yikes…that convo was so painful to watch the way the mc is trying to much with a guy like that. ml’s definitely possessive which is why he blocked the prince’s marriages, but his honest annoyance to the mc’s crying throws me off idk where this going

Im more of a dialogue analyzer tbh. In chapter 7, uncle said something like "i try to behave like a proper uncle to you even if it wasn't my true self" Then in this chapter he did act as if it was to protect the nephew's reputation and dignity, treating the nephew as only a prince role, to not be childish since he's at a noble position, that's why at the end he just told the nephew to just pour his feelings to the person he's going to marry instead of relying onto the uncle. His true self tho which i believe he wants to own the nephew by isolating him: delaying the marriage, asking nephew not to be closed with his friend, slapping shimeung's hand away and feed the nephew himself. Ive read toxic yaoi and most ML do act like this. Cold and confusing then it melts later on, their facial do reflect annoyance, which is what i like lol, it's no fun if he reciprocates early. I like chasing arc.
