Chill, I’m aware Seungho is a gentleman comparing with the seme of this story here After all on this story seme murdered all of the main character’s family!! My point is that I really enjoyed Seungho’s character arc where he realized he had feelings for Nakyun and suffered to win his affection. I want the seme of this story to realize he loves Yeonjo and to suffer from how despised he is.

Seungho is definitely not a gentleman. Have you forgotten how he raped and tortured Nakyum initially? It's good the redemption arc is perfect. The ML in this story is way better than Seungho in terms of how he handles the Yeonjo. ML did massacre Yeonjo's Family because he's ordered to do so. But he did not raped Yeonjo

Seungho did terrible things to Nakyum, and no, I did not forget it, I just jokingly said he LOOKS like a gentleman comparing to this seme here who — as I also said — MURDERED in cold blood the uke’s whole family, and I must add, in front of him. And the seme here did force the uke on some occasions, like when he brought the servant in to have sex with them. And he also tortures MC psychologically all the time, like he just did this chapter forcing him to hurt his servant and triggering memories of his family’s murder.
But I do think your reply is very interesting since it raises a point of discussion, which ML is worse? For me it’s definitely this one.

Right. People forget he had Nakyum severely beaten. But people forget about the physical and sexual abuse if they find the ML attractive. There’s a disconnect between morality and lust for some people.

he killed his family before even having any sort of relationship with him. he murdered people bc he was sorta the executioner of his king. seungho contemplated harming people dear to nakyum during their relationship. i havent even added the multiple sa's yet

Definitely better. Seungho did harm people for fun. The ML here do the things he did because it's his "job" and is forced to do so because again, it's his job and an order from his Lord.

The servant was punished for not following orders. Yeonjo is aware this will happen. Yeonjo knows it and used the servants naivety for his own plans. The servant is not dear to Yeonjo. Yeonjo just reacted that way because he did not expect that the punishment the servant will receive is this severe. The ML in this story is no saint. But is definitely way better than crazy Seungho

I believe the original subject was regarding how the MLs treat their MCs. Then if that's the case, Seungho is definitely worse than this ML. Seungho just had the redemption arc already since that story is already completed. But if we will put the time line and compare it with what seugho did prior the redemption arc, he did raped and assaulted Nakyum ALOT. He also psychologically tortured him at some point.

Compared to this ML, Yeonjo is playing mind games with the ML. He was not "forced" to serve him. He served the ML because of his revenge plan. Both of them are playing mind games.

Also, the ML here killed a lot of people, not only Yeonjo's family as part of his job. He did not kill for fun. He was instructed to do so. It's either he kill people or he'll be killed if he disobey his Lord. Meanwhile, Seungho, voluntarily kill people for fun. Voluntarily assault and rape people, again, for fun.

I agree with you Seungho is definitely worse than Heeryang rape is and always will be worse than murder in my opinion people just like forgetting he raped Nakyum because he became kind

Kudos to Byeonduck for the way she wrote the redemption arc. It was way too good. To the point that people ignored the fact that he was once one of the worst scum of the Earth. The bits of back story too is very well done. She's able to explain why and how Seungho end up being like that. Which lots of people use as an excuse for his scum behavior in the previous seasons

This! Been seeing the love interest here getting compared to Seungho a lot lately. Was really puzzled why they think Seungho was better considering how his initial behavior was before and when he first met Nakyum. You really summarized every detail so well!

Loved all your comments, Seugho was a total trash and it’s only believable the uke would fall in love after everything he did in a comic because in real life he would simply be totally traumatized and would never want to see Seugho again. But just because he is attractive and had a bad past it’s ok. Well a lot of serial killers and sociopaths had a bad childhood, it justifies what they did when they grow up? No.
The ML in this comic is way less worst, not that he is a gentleman, but in comparison he is way better. IF he didn’t have killed mc family in the past they would fall in love really fast and it would be very believable.
