Personally, this was one of the only mangas I ever read where I liked both pairings of the love triangle. And although, only for an aesthetic sense, Yubora was more beautiful for me, it’s been hard to even look at her in the most recent chapters. I rooted as much for her as I did for Taeri, it broke my heart one of them wouldn’t get happiness alongside the main character.
But I really hate that Yubora slept with the main character when MC was so broken, vulnerable, and grieving over Taeri. That didn’t look right to me. Apparently the main character is better now and doesn’t seem to regret it, but it’s been hard to shake off the feeling Yubora took advantage of her grief and vulnerability.
I can only foresee how much they’re gonna hurt each other for now on because Yubora is already feeling very insecure and jealous, and I’m very sure Taeri is alive so when she’ comes back well….. shits sure gonna go down.
Agreed. Even now, I feel like Taeri is an off subject when both of them talk about personal stuff. Geumhee cannot talk about her past without mentioning Taeri and we know Yubora didn’t like that. Also, Geumhee didn’t look comfortable. I feel like GH didn’t have time to grief over Taeri’s death. When GH is not working… Yubora would be all over her. Seriously, the girl didn’t even have room to breath. It almost feel as if Yubora is a substitute so she feels insecure and jealous. Like girl, Taeri will always be part of GH’s life no matter what. If you can’t accept that, then be satisfied as a friend .

I thought nothing about this story could be realistic, but the author’s notes giving insight about Dieter not actually falling in love at first sight with Taichi, but confusing that feeling with the attraction from getting relieved by someone affirming his killing in a world that rejects murder was very interesting. I have no doubt his feelings of love are there now, though.
I love it, I’m obsessed…. Anyone knows if there’s a novel for this gem??

No but seriously though I 100% think the duke is gonna molest MC or say something real humiliating while Lyriel is there. Poor girl she did nothing wrong though so I hope she doesn’t get harmed (also she’s so hot ?? I’m simping already).
But now about the murder. I always thought the whole thing with the duke getting to know about it was fishy, and he seemed pretty obsessed with the MC right from the beginning, even before the bargain they stroke.
I was wondering, what if that guy who died was paid by the duke to try to attack the mercenary, so the mercenary would react to defend himself and be put on a tough spot obliged to lean on the dukes help?
Maybe it wasn’t exactly in this way things happened, but I feel quite strongly that the manipulative duke may have plotted more actively than we think to get the mercenary in such a vulnerable and helpless spot, to belong to him completely.
Idk but I feel like the wife is cheating on the mc with someone else in the mercenarry. I read the raw and I dont really understand it but in one chapter it is shown that the girl is with someone else going in a secluded area

This chapter made me so sad. The way Seigo is acting is gross, he wants Hayame to fall into his arms while he pushes her away from her work like it’s her fault. The way he said he’s gonna inherit everything one day seemed almost like some sort of threat, something like not even the grandmother’s influence could help her. Also, he’s romantically or at least sexually involved with the woman who ruined Hayame’s marriage, which adds to the grossness.
I was so happy when Hayame kept putting Seigo in his place (although without even knowing), while calling him sir and using formal speech, really drawing a line there keeping things professional even when Seigo keeps pushing for more in that “gentlemanly” ways of his. I was downright disgusted when he hugged her after firing her and pressuring her to move out.
Holy shit please someone tell me this gets better. I’m on chapter 4 but this close to dropping it when the Seme legit dishes out a “I don’t need your consent” and the Uke gets turned on by it like whaaaat?
Is the uke a masochist or something? Or really low self esteem? Or is he just being mind controlled to want to bang the Seme even when he’s being a massive rapey asshole?
