It’s weird how our perspective of things can change depending on the kind of stuff we read. I came here right after reading Who Is The Prey and found Yul’s yandereness actually pretty mild... Not that what he’s done isn’t horrible, but I’m relived he didn’t rape Sian and that at least in the end he seemed to deeply regret what he’s done and is leading an honest life.
Now, let me stress on this point, I’m not trying to absolve him for what he’s done, but I like that he full on regretted what he did and stayed out of Sian’s life. I also hope he gets the mental treatment he needs.

This last statement reveals a lot about Johannes mindset. He killed the lambs because they were “dirty beings coveting God’s side”. Is Sonia then the dirty lamb coveting Peter’s/God’s side? That’s why Johannes tried to get rid of her? We’ve all seen how close Sonia acted with Peter.
Johannes probably really idolized Peter as a child, he was a God like figure to him. Makes me wonder if their falling out was something related to him finding out about Peter’s corrupted side.

If she fell for him right now he’d discard her — of course she would never fall for him, but the point is even if he looks slightly peeved/hurt at then end of this chapter by the fact he “kinda likes her but she only has hate for him in her heart”, what actually gets this psycho going is the push and pull, and she’s been doing that perfectly to survive.
What worries me is that I don’t think he’ll let her go after three years, he’ll want to keep her in his grasp forever.
I’ve been saying this for a while but this boy has a yandere magnet attached to his butt or something. He’s never actually had a normal romantic interest since the beginning of this story
