The mom is just so fucking irresponsible!! How can she decide by herself to have the baby without having a conversation with the father like ??? And she hope he will take it positively when he didn’t want the child in the first place ?

I can’t feel bad for empresses when I don’t have a full picture of what’s the norm. Like is it the norm for the emperor to have mistresses? Did he have a lover before he was forced to marry the empress? Did the empress scheme and manipulate her way into becoming the empress? Does she even love the emperor? Normally, the answer to all these questions don’t support me feeling bad for them. All I know about the woman is that she has an incompetent son and that she was poisoning her own husband for power. She’s got it coming.
