I was wondering why the Lord of frost became a demon. So here's what I thought would be the reason, take it with a grain of salt. No spoilers just ideas.
A. He became the demon king of frost because a demon made an offer to him.
B. He became the demon king for more power.
C. A far stronger demon forced him to become the demon king and this is not what he really wanted/ or is not a fully conscious of what the demon is doing.
I'm hoping that it's the C option because at least he would be redeemable
