SPOILERS FOR THE LAST 5 CHAPTERS OF THE SEASON
so there is a time jump of several months to the winter, and like we think both are miserable. But the seme says no to these guys trying to get with him. It's 3 chapters of angst until the uke meets with his ex and apologizes for not taking care of her. But she tells him that wasn't what was wrong, it's that he always only put her first and never himself so she basically felt like she was making him sad. She sees the Keychain and he tries to give it to her, she recalls seeing him happy during the time with the seme and hopes that he will choose for himself to be happy. So in a snow storm the u,e decides to go to seme apartment but outside remembers all the horrible things he said and feels shameless and leaves. Seme is sleeping sick, The cat is meowing by the door because she knows the uke is there, seriously smartest cat ever i mean she warned the seme about a fire, and is responsible for what happens next. and seme opens the door to show nobody there and sees the Keychain sitting there. Than the uke is walking away and than comes the seme yelling for him at the top of his lungs for him to stop. This just freaks him out and he starts running for some reason but the seme chases after him and throws a snowball to get him to stop. I'll stop there cuz it's a great scene
