I'm confused. So the Duke and the FL were a couple until the FL cheated on him so he cheated on her too, to get back at her.
Then the FL somehow wakes up one day with memories of her past life and the novel she read, but seeing as she's confused about so many things (like not remembering how to dance, not immediately remembering her childhood friend and the details on how she cheated on the Duke, etc) this means that her memories as 'Violet' are a blur.
According to her, the memories that pops up from time to time didn't happen in the novel she read in her past life (like she and the Duke being a couple and her cheating)---- so does that mean that the novel she read was fake?
This could be the same as 'Suddenly became a princess' where--- (SPOILERS) -----
---- Anastasia lived 3 lives, the first was when she lived a shitty life and was executed later on, the second was her as a Korean, and the third was her reliving her first life again.
According to Violet, since a lot of things are happening which didn't happen in the novel she read, I'm thinking instead of the info coming from a "novel" Maybe she's remembering her first life. And the memories that she's seeing now are from her current life. I'm also guessing that her current life.

However, this could also be the same as 'The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up in the Duke's Manor'. Maybe the real soul of Violet switched to the body of Shannon because she wanted to get the affection of the Duke. Then the soul that was supposed to go to Shannon ended up in the empty body of Violet. That would explain why Shannon changed.
^ but if we were to follow this theory, the question is----WHY WOULD VIOLET FEEL THE NEED TO CHANGE BODIES WHEN SHE AND THE DUKE WERE LOVERS???? In fact, she was the one who cheated on him in the first place so it doesn't make sense at all. Maybe she saw the future? Idk
