i actually don't recommend reading the novel. the updates have no set schedule, and sometimes only happens once a month. ( the translations are caught up to the raw material)
I think I got dust in my eyes... I wish he had altered his own genes somehow and lived. I thought that's what was gonna happen when his father mentioned it
I was lost every other chapter on who was on who's side until the very end... I don't like the ending, it made my eyes watery But for some reason I loved it anyways and read all the chapters in one day... it ended too soon for me

Im currently reading the novel version. There are a few differences; like, his female master is actually an old man in the novel and he calls him Grandpa. Linley's scales and BeBe are supposed to be black
