I usually get bored with the misunderstanding trope but this story is doing it right. I think most misunderstanding plots depend on the characters being complete idiots with no common sense and childlike mindsets. I find those characters unrelatable and unrealistic. But these two are clearly intelligent, successful, albeit sexually-naive adults whose lies just keep digging them deeper into confusion, and it's much more exciting.
It's cute. I'm not sure if "rushed" is the right word; but it definitely could have been more fleshed out. It felt like the story of a new author who has a lot of potential, just needs more experience. I enjoyed it.
Personally didn't care for this one. The art is great but I'm burnt out on the "unbelievably dumb is my only character trait" bottoms. If you are into himbos with eggplants and no blood left for their brains, this one is for you. And I'm not here to judge.

Started this one from the beginning today and it's fantastic. Unique concept with complicated characters, but not so dark that I feel miserable reading it. Hate to see such a low rating, but not surprised since it's not another bland, fluffy read.
Here I am, still reading this comic. Still trying to decide which one of these guys is dumber. Their baby is going to have a room temp IQ.
Everyone in this story sucks. It still could have been a good story, but it feels like the author tried to humanize even the most evil characters by making them *slightly less evil* eg. Dominic's revelation at the end, and that made it even worse. Just commit to your pos characters. A story can just be dark; it doesn't have to have forced moments of wholesomeness. Anyway, it gets 3 stars for holding my attention to the end I guess.
I kind of hate this newer trend of making the 2nd ML more likeable than the 1st. I feel like it's ruined a lot of stories for me lately. And them being originally fated for each other adds another layer of sadness for me. I still love this story, just wish it wasn't BREAKING MY HEART.
