WARNING: (vague) SPOILERS
Wow, I really didn't remember what a massive jerk Jiwon was during the first 2/3s of the story, especially towards Dong-gyun. Don't get me wrong, I love this story to bits and the premise is really compelling. Jiwon is actually a good character, but I wish Dong-gyun was not such a pushover and a non-character. As with the vast majority of ukes, I think he is the one who needed character development the most. Still, I see the appeal in this kind of uke-seme dynamic...
The final 1/3 of the story is great, though I think it should have way more chapters (and character development) to get to that level of wholesomeness. Maybe even an arc about Dong-gyun moving on, for real. Regardless, at the end of the day, the comfort that Jiwon and Dong-gyun provide to each other is really moving and satisfying.
P.s: Shame to Jiwon's parents, no wonder... and I hate Hweemin's guts, people like him are scum, I hope he's miserable with no meaningful human relationships in his life.

Love the neo-noir feel. I wish the chapters were bigger because I gobbled up the first 12 in a few minutes. So far, I expect a serious and more realistic than usual storyline. The physical/mental evaluation for A.J seemed believable enough and a nice touch. I wonder what kind of person is hiding behind "mr. Sharpe" and how his personality will unravel. At the same time I want A.J to surprise us with his hidden potential. I'm hooked!

The dad knew all along? Not only that, he's actually being reasonable about their relationship. Way to go, dad (/sarcasm). Also, good to know Haesoo has no illusions about the kind of person Taku is. It's decided, I prefer Joowon. In my eyes, they clearly care deeply for each other. Their relationship is kinda special. Plus, I don't trust people that keep their eyes open when they kiss... especially in such an emotional situation!
Edit: Oh wow, not many people like Joowon. It would be all the more satisfying if they end up together, then :P

But...dad wants to literally separate them. That's why he wants to remarry Haesoo's mum. So they will be siblings again and they would finally stop their "relationship".

Taku acts like that bc he is someone who is always in control and gets what he wants.
The little details only we readers get to see are giving me a headache
This guy is a true chessplayer and knows his game

There is no taboo right now because they are divorced so they can be together. But he wants to remarry so the taboo will keep them separate.

I suggest you go back and read. The reason he said that there is no taboo holding them back is that they are divorced. He wants to get back with the mom so that there will be a taboo again and Heasoo will not be with Jowoon if the mom and dad get back together. That's why Haesoo hasn't slept with Jowoon since season 1 after the dinner scene with Jowoon's dad.

Yes, I was aware of that when I posted my comment. I remembered distinctly Haesoo's mom calling his affair with Joowon "disgusting". I, incorrectly, thought that she was concerned that her son is with a man as well. That's why I called the dad "reasonable". At least he was not being "disgusted" and overdramatic. Saying "way to go" was pure sarcasm, but I forgot sarcasm doesn't translate through text.

Oh ok. Now that you explained what you meant I agree ;)

This looks good. I really like the concept, the romance part seems like it'll be fun but the situation of the seme is relatable. Seeking the approval of others is riveting and excruciating at the same time. At the end of the day you feel like an impostor. Most importantly, the person who will never approve of you is your own self.
Also, another successful businessman/seme with the surname "Kang" (albeit not his birth surname). I wonder why it's so common now. I bet it means something like "strong" or "tenacious". Because, you know, all semes are manly and dependable :P

The "Learned sir" is very learned indeed... in manipulation. At this point, Seungho(e)'s intention are not quite clear. Na-kyum is at the bottom of the chain of command, just a "plaything" (I hope he'll grow to become more than that!). So, what our dear "Learned" sir decides to do? Knowing that Na-kyum doesn't have any ill-intentions or hidden agendas, he obviously tries to manipulate him.
Fun fact: In some cultures (namely ancient Greece), prostitutes were highly educated women. So, joke's on you, learned bitch! :P
To me, it was as clear as day, since very early on, that Haesoo and Jowoon are endgame. Too many unresolved feelings, bottled up for stupid reasons. Their "situation" has been going on for years. At some point I realised that Haesoo is the more problematic of the two. He doesn't want to admit to himself his true desires, he's guarded, walled up and scared. No matter how in love and good for him Taekyoung is, the possibilities that their relationship would work out are very slim.
I don't really have a preference between J and T, it just sucks for T. Falling in love with a person that will never return your feelings is sad. Especially when it's your first love. But hey, emotional pain makes for great art ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
