This was arc good but PLEASE BE OVER. My comedy had this angst intermission and I need Uyun to just give an emotional speech after this rollercoaster. Also, it’s wild that Rik ghosted Jinhyeong for two whole years. Thats borderline evil, I get it and this arc also touched heavily on classism and other societal concepts but damn damn DAMN.

And coming to show his diploma is diabolical (I respect the pettiness but I still feel bad for Jinhyeong and I personally don’t want to see anymore of Rik as a character, I’ve had enough). I hope again, that they don’t meet and become friends again. Just drift apart, those 4 years of friendship left about 8 years of trauma. I don’t even want to deal with the father drama either but I know it’s coming. I just need some hahas before anymore angst and drama. Where’s the red head bisexual who sucks at love. I need some more of him and anyone else but Rik and the father at this point.

I love that we’re getting a mass upload of this cause I could NOT manage this much flashback angst in my comedic BL. It’s not bad but I miss my uyun scenes, bring back our red headed loser and the TA staff. We always had backstory scenes that alluded to the father but we’ve been in this backstory for over ten chapters, this needs to END.

Also, I hope we don’t meet future Rin for more than 5 chapters. I hope it’s a case like noona where he only pops up for closure purposes then vanishes. Same with the father, because outside of Pops being rich we don’t need too much angst with him. Joo is 26 years old, with a job and an amazing education, he shouldn’t be able to interfere with Joo for tens of chapters so I can’t wait for this to go to being a light hearted read.

I read the @sura chapter 119. And translation is more important that clean up and editing. They had the MC call the woman a whore instead of a concubine, which felt so obviously wrong in the context of who the MC has been shown and developed as a character.

And it definitely felt like it was pandering to a specific type of audience as there’s just NO WAY he called that woman whore after saying he didn’t expect for them to be knocked out for 4 days.

Spoiler, three reasons why this is a heavy drop.

1. Even if you don’t mind harems I still HIGHLY recommend to avoid this cause in the light novel Lefi gave the three girls (you know, the ones that were grown as their daughters) permission to marry him when they get older and become his wives. And he’s down for it and three girls are “down” for it. (Down is in quotes cause they’re straight up just being groomed)

2. Harems can be done reasonably, this is not one cause her logic for being alright with everyone is that they’ll die soon eventually, especially the hero. Which is crazy to think about.

3. It’s just not interesting anymore even as isekai slop. Nothing is happening and Lefi is still more important, and the point is for MC to get stronger than her. But he piggybacked on her status for so long to just keep adding random kids (cause they’re mainly kids) into his harem. You can’t be boring and a crime!
