I feel like some people just get bad fates. Abused as a child then died young due to a sickness. Why is it like that? Poor Maggie.
Is that the end? So many unanswered stuff tho. I like open endings but this just feels like not an ending but rather a lead up to an ending. Are there any sides at all?（￣へ￣）
The story is heart warming and sweet. I'm glad the main characters figured out how to communicate with each other despite their own issues.
BUT, I am mad at Shinwoo's mom. She is lucky he still wants to reconnect with her and still wishes for her happiness. She knew what her husband's fam was like and yet she still left her remaining son with them. Never even tried to find him. I know she had to leave for her own sake, but choosing to lie to her new family and never even trying to reach out---ugh. I wish she tried.（/TДT)/
It's actually a pretty light read. No deep angst or anything like that. I do say this with all the love I can muster: Eidar is adorable but is quite dumb. There is also a bit of gore in it when you think about it. I mean Kay killed quite a bit lol. And he did so pretty nonchalantly.
I wish the side stories shows Eidar reuniting with his mom or getting her portrait if she is already dead.
i hope the author comes back and gives us extras where they live happily on the island. I'm not sure if his mom is alive (the beginning of the story showed us that she was really sick) but I do hope they at least get a portrait of her.
I didn't realize it was the last chapter so now I am sad. I want more from Douding and Wu Yi and honestly more of (real) Xin Nian and Xiao Mao's partners. We barely saw their development. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Wish there were more side stories. I felt like the last chapters toward the ending were so heavy that I'm not satisfied with the short ass side story. I need to see them happy. Also I wanna see Ryan's food truck. ╥﹏╥
Because of the freezing, all their friends are dead by the time they got their happy ending....

2. Top is a real piece of work. Sure, give him a redemption ark, but it just felt so shallow. Idk. We don't even know why he was like that. They showed him crying as a child but offered no explanation so it's kinda hard to feel sorry for him tbh.
3. Bottom is awesome. Bro is really resourceful.
4. (PSA TO ALL PARENTS) Please don't spoil your children rotten.
All in all, a very easy read.
