Seeing the younger version of the two at the end was downright depressing. They’re brothers. He spent his lifetime atoning for what he did in the first life. And he seemed to be a good brother. I just think MC shouldn’t have been so quick to call each other strangers - maybe they reduce the time they spend together, but at least acknowledge that he’s a better person now in this life.
Maybe I'm missing something here but in terms of what MCs brother did wrong we have obsessive, creepy, attacked a mythical creature and imprisoned MC out of somewhat understandable abandonment fears. It then spiraled out of control and MC died due to unintended consequences.
Thats bad, but all in all, if someone went through multiple lifetimes reflecting on how those were bad choices, I could get over it. At no point was the brother evil, just wildly unable to express healthy affection. It feels strangely disproportionate given the ML at some point raped the MC.
I think Doha has no plan to escape the game - he’s just following the flow for now so Bada can be satisfied with any progress being made, but seems like Doha is secretly sabotaging Bada by preventing him from finding new messages/secrets that are being unlocked each run, slowing Bada’s progression to beating the game. I think this will be revealed once Bada has completely fallen for Doha, and that’s what Doha is counting on - Bada not wanting to leave and staying with him forever.
Okay so I’m pretty sure in the novel, the brother acc has a crush on the FL, and so he was doing all of this to woo her and get her to think of him as a potential partner. It’s really nice that the webtoon changed it so instead, he’s trying to get her close with the ML.

So the new chapter basically doesn’t even have also touch upon wtv happened last chapter. Like, the author completely brushed aside the rape and trauma and just acts like Leo is totally fine (if only a lil mad at how JJ just left him there) and ready for more. That’s disappointing.

I’m not saying I’m comfortable with the last chapter, it was indeed violent and the lack of worrying after was really shitty, but if you think about it, Leo is the one begging JJ to sleep with him just for the sake of his career, (once again treating him like a lucky charm rather than a human)
Also there’s no trauma mentioned or implied and him going to fuck with JJ again cuz he has a race just further proves the point he sees him just as a lucky charm (tho he seems kinda jealous of the blondie now)
Honestly downvote me if you want, but if you’re that busy with other stuff translator-person, I think you should drop this project and allow someone else to take it up. The raws are complete, so really, there is no wait or hiatus, yet there was still a 4 month gap.

I just reread ch 1 again, AND GUYS the new chapter is nothing compared to the first. Yes, bottom used the top for pleasure and then left, but like the top NEVER SAID NO. In fact that too even started banging the bottom harder at one point.
Yes, both of them were wrong, but the bottom literally told the top to stop and to go slower. It was clearly wayyy too much for him, and without preparation, and on top leaving the bottom in such a vulnerable position after he was used.

Yeah. I remember thinking that Leo was clearly being inconsiderate of JJ in that chapter one scene, but this was also very clearly rape. JJ forced it in with no prep or lube, likely tearing and bruising Leo, and then just left Leo there. It doesn’t even matter that Leo’s body responded physiologically. Leo was a shitty lover before in terms of considering your partner’s feelings, but JJ dead ass responded with rape
PERIOD 100% agree. What made this ch so much worse for me was how the author was showing that Leo was responding with pleasure to JJ. Like as if that made everything okay, or that erases the fact that JJ literally raped Leo and left him in that vulnerable position alone IN PUBLIC.
Hate the fact that the author added this rape scene. It didn’t even feel like this was JJ - this destroyed his entire character and wtv sympathy I possibly felt for him bc of how Leo treated him.
It’s the same author that wrote spilled blood. I was so shocked when I connected the fact that ML’s brothers are the main characters of spilled blood (esp since that short story was full of pseudo incest and grooming).
Author def has a baby kink bc even in this story, the ML also tends to revert to it. I still love the story tho - I think the author does a phenomenal job fleshing out the characters and backstories, and making them very realistic. ML has issues (possessive/obsessive/refusing to call MC his lover) all bc he’s afraid of being abandoned, and rightfully so due to how the MC acts (talking about how they won’t be together after the year is done). And MC also has his reasons (never fully developed proper friendships bc he was severely bullied, and the one friend he had betrayed him). Overall, love this story, def worth the read compared to a lot of other BL out there.
And ML does treat MC right, he just has his flaws. The sex scenes are hot but honestly sometimes a bit too much.
