It pissed me off that the Uke act like that in his first day of work. Shud'nt bring/involve personal matter in work eapecially that he is just starting in the company and already being absent minded. He shud just refuse the job if he doesnt want to work there.
Your acting like he didn't do his work and acted like a baby all day. He was kind to the woman that was next to him, not everyone is super outgoing so him not getting along with anyone is also understandable, and he did his work(not to even mention he even did overtime! Overtime before he even had his welcome party ). Idk if you ever work with someone you don't like or a ex before but it is awkward ASF. Also jobs don't fall out of the sky especially good ones, so you take what you can get. Most people can't afford to just drop a job cuz they don't like someone, that's why women stay at jobs where men sexually assault them. It's getting better now a days but some women have to suck it up cuz they have bills to pay, which sucks. I think he handle it pretty well especially since he did his job and no one knows they have tension between each other, they actually think they are good friends. Not to mention he is human not a mindless corporate zombie. Some people can hide their emotions very well and some don't. I actually think he did great just space out a little, it happens.
