In Jinx the asshole is at least monetarily compensating the bottom, sometimes does nice things and the bottom knew from the begging that the top is that kind of an unapologetic asshole and took the deal anyway, he also can walk away any time he wants and the top did not give so far a vibe that he's malicious or vindicative towards his exes, so it is all consensual if still plenty toxic. I have more issues with the bottom in that story who is 30 y.o. naive goose stokholm syndroming himself to the asshole.
