Personally, the story itself currently doesn't show any kinds of pedophilic vibes. The haters are just mostly making up accusations and probably got too fed ub by social media activists.
Im referring to haters who specifically throws hate to the story itself. They can't accept the fact that they themselves (unintentionally or not) sexualized a wholesome, shounen ai tagged manga so they'll put the blame to the mangaka or innocent readers.
As far as I've read the story, the kid is the one who likes the teenager. The teenager also likes the kid as a dear close friend. Nothing more, nothing less.
The haters are hypocrites honestly, hating on pedophiles but insinuated something pretty pedophilic to the characters

Because I still simp for Mirio, the first panel of chapter 13 nearly killed and refreshed my mentality at the same time.
They write extremely bad female characters and just focus on male characters, maybe even make everyone of them fall for each other. It's kind of interesting and entertaining when you're new in this BL community, but it will get really tiring and somewhat irritating later on when you've read a lot.

I agree... I'm kinda DONE by bl authors, who are generally women themselves, not knowing how to write normal women characters. They are always horrible and bitchy, and it's like men HAVE to turn to each other because all the females ever are so bad...
ISTG if I see the main lead on his knees, crying his eyeballs out, looking VERY VERY miserable while apologize WHILE the Iljo is making him 2x miserable, Then maybe... Ill forgive him
I just hope he won't be used as the villain/antagonist just for the main couple to progress...
Lately I'm loosing my taste in BL (probably because of certain Yaoi where the focus are the smexes) and I am still now. Reading this masterpiece reminded me of why I liked reading BL.
IKR SAME. I felt like there were barely any good bls left to read but this REALLY WAS A MASTERPIECE. I think most of the time, some of the best bls are the least talked about so that's why I always look around and try to find more even the more unpopular ones. :)
I'm kinda not really into the famous manhwa ones it doesn't suit my taste in BL idk why (I dropped them sadly after reading a few chaps) But yeah, there are some underrated BLs here that are worth reading and worth the attention.
ISTG WW3 will start if mangago will get banned before this manhwa complete. I'll resurrect all of the daddies here if I have to.
I'm kinda hoping that the mc will make a closure talk with him like "let's pretend we never know each other" or somewhere between the lines and will not be easily swayed by him EVEN IF THE GUY CRIES OR BEGGED FOR FORGIVENESS
I'm not saying that they shouldn't end up with each other, I'm just saying that THE GUY MUST SUFFER MORE....... before they get back together.... or not....
