Yes I agree that she should move on but moving on when your crush likes someone else(regardless of what that person's gender is) is literally one of the hardest things to do. Teenagers, adults even old people find it very hard to move on when they live someone and it hurts when you're not the object of their affection. Moving on is easier said than done.
I’ve been in situations where a dude I’m interested in turns out to be gay and like I said, I move on. It’s an instant switch for me. I don’t hate him, I certainly don’t avoid him, my mind just responds logically and I no longer view him as a possibility. Same thing happens when I find out a dude has a girlfriend or he turns out to be sexist, etc. Whatever romantic interest I had in the guy just goes away.
And to try and be forceful towards a person just because they’re incapable of moving on and are hurt that their crush does not reciprocate their feelings is plain toxic and disrespectful.
It does not matter how hurt a person is over their love fantasy crumbling down after being struck with reality, they can’t just use that as a justification for horrendous actions. Either cope sanely and move on or be emotional/crazy and face legal repercussions.
