Ok i have a lot s things to say about this so bare with me
1)i found this a bit cringy at first because of the female leads "stan" tendencies. Like, I understood wanting to follow your idol around, but revolving her whole personality around it was very very bad. I'm glad to see she's actually more than that, compared to other main characters in other stories who...are really just that.
2)I love the way they handle abuse. In other stories, it's always over the top punishment and it always just seems...fake. they always suffer inhuman phisical pain, but mentally, apart from having trust issues and a snappy personality, they're relatively fine. They also resolve everything but just getting rid of the person who hurt you, but reality just isn't that simple.
The people who hurt you are usually people in a position able to do so. Meaning: family.
The feelings that arise are bittersweet Because that is all you know and you feel that it's justified, because you don't really want to see your family in that manner.
And abuse affects people in ways you can't imagine when it starts. And even if you're able to "get over it" it's still something in the back of your mind that's going to haunt you forever.
I'm glad they don't just brush every thing off here- the fl even got rightfully angry at the story for doing so-
3) i feel like she's going to save abel when he has that magical discharge, so she's gonna absorbe it and I'm turn awaken her power and true potential or whatever.
The other two points I have are just me back at it on my usual bullshit so feel free to ignore but
4) Lmao why'd they give the poor kid sharpie eyebrows
And 5) Sorry but the face shape of the male lead reminds me of phineas from phineas and ferb and if I have to be haunted by that cursed knowledge, so do you.
I really hope the older dude doesn't have feelings(romantic at least) against tsubaki.
I do like the trope of the younger childhood friend carrying a torch for the older, oblivious tone, but he has to be exactly that. Oblivious.
Otherwise it's...pretty scary, not gonna lie
Yeah...but what set me off was that other girls knowing stare.
Shes perceptive- i think that's the reason she was created in the first place- and she was able to tell that something was amiss when he was talking about tsubaki.
I don't think he's a creep or anything like that- just...maybe a bit too... obsessed?
Mmm I read that scene as her realising the child wasn't comfortable with her and she was very kind for leaving instead of trying to force him to like her, like many older people do with children. That being said, I can't deny that on a second thought I felt it sounded like that random character who understands the real feelings of mc, but realistically I'd say it's more likely she thought he was shy or "jealous" of the bro's attention (like children do).
I think it's ok if he's overprotective, as long as his feelings are just brotherly.
