Um...I kinda skipped a few scented but when I realized, I went all the way to the top to skim it over again and, how old are they supposed to be here??
Cause she looks fucking young. And she's wearing a highschool uniform.
Nothing against the readers cause most of you probably didn't clock it, but I *am* wondering wtf was the writer thinking.
Maybe I'm just overly cautious but better that than the alternative
Edit: I searched for a scene another comment commented on and it says the director had to stop herself cause the idol was too young?!?!??
By japanese standards I don't think they'd even consider 16 too young so how fucking young is she here

Lmaoooo idk if it's the intended purpose but this is so funny to me.
Also I just really like her reaction. They'll probably end up together regardless but so far she's held up better than most female leads who claim they don't want anything to do with the male lead but then succumb to it when he so much as breathes in their direction.
I also love how she mentions it's cause she has a family now. "I wonder why I'm not so dependent on him anymore. Maybe it's cause I have a family that actually loves me now" lmaoooo so unintentionally funny
Honestly the saintess here doesn't really bother me. She's obv in the wrong but she could be an interesting character so maybe I won't hate her.
Funny that God is like "y'all done screwed up. Why am I the only one doing anything around these parts. Sigh. You get one more chance and that's it." And just drop kicked mc into this world sjsjsjssj
NGL the guiding is kinda

I find funny how she is crying about how misstreated she was, yet never knew that the guy got severly abused, kiddnaped to whole other world, not knowing the language, not knowing to read it, being forced to work for them with treats of destroing his nation ....... If she cared, or if she was not always just in self pitty she would know that he didnt have it easy too, or at least feel it. In comparison to him, her problems seem funny to me.

Woah? That's kinda victim Blamey don't you think.
Yeah sure she never knew that cause he never bothered telling her in the first place. She quite literally thought he hated her.
Also are we sure the guy got severely abused? Like the plot isn't that well written but "got kidnapped by Korean bureaucracy" is a hell of an explanation for why he never left lmaoooooo.
Did I misread and did that actually happen? Cause I didn't find the chapters where it says they threatened to destroy his nation.
Her "problem" was that she was in an abusive relationship. Not to diminish what he went through, but he's still the perpetrator in her woes.
It's very plainly laid out that he was manipulative and controlling and the only reason she stayed is cause she white literally had no one else to go to. When you create a safety network you start treating yourself better cause you finally get to see what real love and care is like.
She's not acting like her life was the worst thing to ever happen to her. But it's in the past, and now that she has people who love her, she won't put herself through what she went through again

Haha I love how we see it diferently!
In his story, (first time) , saint was only one Who could help them. And she said that if he comes to earth with her she will bring many more healers with her. (i am sorry i read it some time ago and dont remember names exactly)
Yet when they came she never opened portal for him to go back, nor wanted to bring more healers back to his country. And forced him to help goverment in return of some promises. After saint could not be paired with him our girl did... At first he didnt Like her but that changed with time. And everyone apart from her could see that he loved her. And she became his weakness for when he is not listening to orders properly . Ofc that does not excuse bad comunication... But in that sense and my understanding he wanted to protect her best way he could... How is it not victim blaming then when he is suffering. Both may be victims so lets put that argument aside. I dont feel Like we are getting whole picture in this manga you know... Its all her pov.
He never left... Bcs how could he when he cant open portal. And now they are saying they will harm his wife and only person able to calm him down. Meaning.. His death basicaly.
She didnt try to look at his situation, after she knew it she never tried to understand it better even after he begged.. Like.. No... Im not vibing her at all. There eis difference betwen victim blaming and just saying she is stupid. What he did was also bad, what she did was also bad. There is never any person with "only this one is right! Slay!" but Like... She could have known if she tried... If someone is from diff world you probably will be able to tell that they are suspicious in some ways. After living together so long. I am more on his Side. I understand his actions more. How can you just cry that someone hates you without trying to know them.

Uhh I totally agree with OP here. Yes, he did get tricked into going to Korea with fake saintess to bring more guides but she didn't force him to help the government, he clearly says they bound him. I do agree that he initial disliked but grew to love FMC but I don't think it was obvious to anyone but him and the fake saintess. He literally showed no affection to her ever and that's because she was his weakness. She was obviously his physical weakness because she's the only guide he's compatible with but he hid that she was his emotional weakness as well, and that include hiding it from FMC. The only time he seemed even remotely affectionate is when she was sick and she thought it was a fever dream.
Yes, they were definitely under continuous threat and he wanted to keep her safe but like OP said, he literally never communicated anything. Even if he had good intentions in the name of love, literally dragging her from friends and keeping her home only to ignore her is so toxic. He doesn't own her, they should have discussed the problem and I'm sure she would've been more careful and understood. Instead he kept silent and just made himself look like a super controlling husband. HE did that to himself, no one forced him to be quiet, even if he couldn't be openly loving to FMC.
FMC didn't consider his POV, but he never considered hers either. That's why he deluded himself into thinking she would still be in love with him in his world, he thinks he didn't do anything wrong when he barely did anything right. Yes, they're both victims but at least he had all the facts the whole time they were together while she was always in the dark until she reincarnated. Also, you say she could have tried and from living together she should have known something was different but it shouldn't be only on FMC to connect with her partner in the relationship. They should both put in the work to be equals, otherwise the unbalanced relationship is doomed to fail. She made it obvious that she loved him but he never reciprocated that in any perceiveable way so how could she know? They were basically friends with benefits including legal ones since they were married. Also this pissed me off; it's really far-fucking-fetched for FMC to just assume he's from another world? That literally doesn't make sense. Guides and sentinels are standard in the novel/webcomic but fricking dimensional travel isn't and it's not like she's some otaku or something who's like "OMG isekai he's definitely from another world he can't fool me". She's going to do the reasonable thing and assume he's just distant and aloof BECAUSE HE WAS.
FMC went went through her development by being able to love and being able to freely RECEIVE love for the first time in TWO lifetimes, of course she's going to realize how bad her relationship was and try to prevent the same situation from happening again. Obviously they still end up together in the end but he needs to reflect on how poor his behavior actually was and development some personality depth before it happens.
Finally, the webcomic doesn't really portray ML's POV as much as FMC's true, but the novel flips between their POVs much more often and it shows that he himself acknowledges that he kept himself purposefully distant from her with thr exception of needing her guiding (because it makes them intimate). Yes he did explain the reasoning was to protect her but he doesn't even acknowledge what that does to her. He has all the information but is too blind to see the hurt he causes. Again, he is also a victim since he never asked to be trapped in Korea but that never excuses anyone from perpetuating the cycle of emotional pain like he does.
Sorry for the rant, but FMC went through a shitty, unloved life and got an amazing second chance and ML needs to realize she's not the same person she was before he gets HIS second chance. He needs to realize that she doesn't owe him anything and he needs to prove himself.

Meh. It's like the author tried too hard to make it deep, but some things just didn't make sense.
The characters were almost all so unlikeable, for starters.
The characters that I *didn't* like turned out to be the ones I understood the most, shocker.
First off with roach, who since the mc despised I thought would turn out to be one of those conniving dirt bags who do anything to undermine the mc cause they're bored but instead turned out to be a victim who was just stuck in the constant circle of abuse.
Then there's the gangster who I thought would be the topical loan shark, but he actually does have feelings despite himself and is loyal to them in his own way.
Comparing that to the two protagonists whoa re both willing to chest so readily on people they proclaimed to love just five minutes prior, who's emotions seem to elude everyone including themselves and who act all self righteous and as if their "love" excuses everything when their "love" wasn't even strong enough to make them try and work things out in the first place.
Mc is a dumb bitch who at the slightest convenience decided to go into the red light industry. Well, it's his life. Whatever. But then he acts all heartbroken cause his clients won't fall for him at the drop of a hat? And for his middle school boyfriend too like BFR. Then he finally catches someone who is willing to love him and the moment he does he goes and cheats on him. BOI. Why spit in the face of something good???? Just because he was a bit absent??? Talk dumbass. And then the whole "I know you. You're not a bad person." Spiel like that is quite literally the king of a criminal empire this fucked up more people's lives than you know. Who are you trying to save acting like that?? No wonder you dn do well in school, even if you studied it would probably ender JE ear and go out the other.
Then there's the male lead. I can sort of forgive what he did to roah cause it can be subconscious and they *are* escorts so the limits between cheating or not become incredibly muddy. But bro. Why did you enter a relationship if you weren't ready for it? Nether was roah tbh tho.
His chearacter is just dumb. He breaks up with his bf cause he saw he was in a bad situation. ...so what? I understand not accepting that your lover has seen you so low but you can break up amicably, the way he went about it was totally unwarranted.
Then he goes into his hoe phase and goes around fucking every dude possible for...mc? Make it make sense. If it was for money I'd understand, but you're sleeping around for the person you "love"?? I somehow highly doubt they'd want that.
And also, the boss, too??? :(((
Yk I already thought their friends sucked ass (wait I just realized the guy he slept with was his friend at the start. So not only a stranger, but a friend. Eewwwwww) cause they were willing to use them no second thought but I thought, hey, at least they care about their partner. But nope, they're both willing to chest at the drop of a hat.
I guess it's what you would expect from people working and manning that kind of place, but still, it's quite disheartening to see.
Also the writing just wasn't that good like some things happened abruptly and out of nowhere. They'd suddenly develop feelings out of nowhere or turned obsessed out of thin air, with no setup. Like the police thing! That's an important plot point you should develop across a few chapters. Not something you have the ml do while he's going schizo.
Anyways. I hope roah gets out of there safely, and I hope some of the characters that stayed in that stink hole called Shangri-la(which btw I had to do a double take cause I went to a restaurant called that just the other day) sink even lower and lead fully pathetic lives(talking specifically about the owners)

Man the male lead pissed me off.
Like she's so pathetic it's not even sad anymore. She won't stop crying and blushing at every instance I understand the mc(author) wanting to be pathetic to her white lotus character because some people make me mad fr.
Honestly I'd just completely do away with the male leads story cause every character that wants him is completely unlikeable.
I don't get the comments simping for the bodyguard cause 1)that's a whole ass pedophile but ok and 2)that's a whole ass sexual predator, on top of that!
Then the comments simping for the villainess are just as boggling cause sure we get someone who shouldn't be in jail maybe but she's just ugly AF and ik for y'all that's more egregious than liking kids so I just really don't understand how she has simps

Literallyyyyyy THANK YOU. I don't have that much of a problem with teacher student relationships if they only like each other when they're CONSENTING ADULTS.
I don't have a problem with someone trying to make the other dependant when they're CONSENTING ADULTS.
I think bodyguard/master ships are very cute when they're both CONSENTING ADULTSSSS.
I can stomach almost anything when it's between consenting adults but PLEASE leave the kiddies alone
She's sexually harassing her in HIGHSCHOOL so u can guess how long that's been going on. What the fuck.

RIGHTTT LIKE HOW IS NO ONE SEEING ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS, i can kind of deal with like college wise, but highschool??!!and u can tell by the bodyguards expression she's not happy, it's also like she was expecting the young master to come runnig back to heryh, i wonder how long she's been a bodyguard, bc how is she comfortable doing that knowing their relationship and status?!?!
I didn't expect much from the story cause of the sometimes abrupt character decisions and the shitty translations but the second half of the story has been much to my liking.
Like yes she's weak but also strong in her own way. She puts herself first and isn't the typical dumb ass bleeding heart.
I was fearful it would go the typical route and turn into the typical "cute" storyline where everyone is unrealistically happy despite all the abuse they put each other through but no, after reading the spoilers I like it even more and am just sad I found this so soon
