Sudo was in love with Asami, but he got greedy and betrayed Asami by doing illegal/secret trading behind Asami's back, so Asami fired him. When Sudo begged for forgiveness and showed that he was jealous of akihito (asking what was the difference between him and akihito that made akihito so special to Asami), Asami rejected him. With nowhere to go and nothing meaningful left, Suho joined the enemy group and sought to destroy Asami instead (the "if I can't make you love me, then I'll at least make sure you hate me enough that you can't forget me" kinda thing)
