When I read this, all I can play are somber songs like feel something by Bea Miller and then I switch up to FEELS LIKE HOME. Is my brain setting me up to cry because this stuff is just... It’ll be completely breathtaking from all the sadness and then it becomes bright all of a sudden just to turn around and stab me in my chest again. It’s really something when a story makes you feel so much you wanna unfeel everything, then make you regret feeling like that ╥﹏╥
So I’m seeing a lotta hate for our protagonist and I understand y’all points. But what I disagree with is calling our MC a shit person. Now he’s been a slave all his life, dad got poisoned, mom got raped and murdered, got ILLEGALLY kicked out of the academy and forced to become the lowest class slave, and almost got his sisters sold off as sex slaves on top of never meeting his REAL parents. Now in his adult years, he’s just finding out who tf he ACTUALLY IS and of course his feelings are gonna boil over.
I mean I’ve seen something talking abt he’s getting mad about he’s getting mad about his father who he never met and he wasn’t acting like that with the dude who raised him. My rebuttal is, yes he did act like that. I wanted to kill the man who did it, but laws restricted him. Once they didn’t restrict him anymore he beat the shit outta that guy. The only reason he didn’t kill him was because he was tryna control that “beast” inside him.
Now that he knows who he really is and the story of his parents, he’s made the decision that he needs that “beast” and he has more ppl that he’s mad at. First time it was just that one man, now he’s disgusted at ALL nobles that look down on others. So yea, it seems like Niro is going crazy and being mean out of nowhere but damn y’all.
