Maybe you haven't read a lot of Japanese smut but the FL in Japanese smut are stereotypically very VERY indecisive and submissive. The FL would literally fall for any guy who rapes her and claims that he did it because he loves her, she seduced him, or that there's no problem because he knows damn well she enjoyed it

I truly hate how many mangakas follow this route because of the problem in Japan. Here are some links that I think it is important for everyone to read including mangakas of josei and yaoi. Sexual Assault is a problem in Japan and it doesn’t help if mangakas incorporate it into their work with no consequences.
