Finally someone who realized this "im going to pretend be a genious although i'm just some random average girl" is such a stupid trope, and tbh very annoying. There are a few comics where shes really a genious or it can be justified (like in the I'm a kings daughter) but most of the time its just UGH

Im i the only one who gets irked with these FL's hair? (Im kinda into historical fashion, not an expert tho) i know artistic freedom, fantasy setting and all but...it' clearly some alternate historical setting. So why in God's name would she have her hair down? She is a physical worker, a maid who's hair would get in the way during work. Not to mention lower class women did't have the time or resources to keep their hair that clean to be able to wear it down. She should AT LEAST braid it or better- wear it in a bun or some other durable updo.
I know im just nicpicking at the story but i see this in literally every webtoon, i just got so annoyed with it because it just takes me out of the story.
And not to mention it doesnt make sense and is stupid#-.-)

In the beginning of the story as she was working as normal maid she used to have her hair in low bun kinda hair style which make sense obviously later on when he rewards her to become royal maid she have her hair down which again totally make sense since the rite of royal maid is different then normal one they don't work as hard works as normal one and then need to keep a tidy clean proper look she can't walk around looking hideous so letting her hair down is totally acceptable. Also , the way she's holding her hair down is she is holding some pieces in the back so all her hair is pulled backwards it's easier that way to work and still classy i do that hairstyle at home when I'm cleaning my hair is long but still it doesn't get in the way because it's pulling backwards.

Poppy latex(the liquid from the seed capsules) is high in alkaloid compounds (morphine) so...
They kinda got high on some spiked candy and fell asleep lol

I think this "milk of the poppy" is the latex/liquid i was talking about. These alkaloid found in some poppy species is often used in medicine, for example in the 19-20th it was still used in simple cough syrups too. We used/still use it as painkillers for very severe pains. It basically "turns of" our pain nerve connections temporarly.
It used to be made by scraching the green poppy pod and collecting the oozed out, dried latex but it was very labor intensive. Nowadays its made with dried poppy hay. In my country they grow a lots of poppy (the kind thats is high in alkaloids, its actually smaller than the one we eat) for medicinal uses, morphine production.

Well it can. It depends if you are talking about the culinary/hobby flower grade poppy or the medicinal grade (the culinary contains much much less alkaloid and the seeds itself contains even less, an insignificant amount)
Fun facts: if you eat A LOT of poppy seed (like in pastry filling so on) eat can be detected in drogtests.
+ Actually lots of thing we eat is poisonous in large quantity. For example rhubarb, because it contains a significant amount of oxalic acid+oxalate salt and it can cause kidney failure (brain and heart damage too lol) but you can not eat a fatal amount because its physically imposible to ingest 6-7 kg of it. You might get a stomach ache or puke it up if you eaten too much of it. Or if you are prone to kidney stones you should not eat it at all.
