I think they're siblings but for some reason (whether its because of Yoona or just a misunderstanding on the part of Seryeon), Seryeon thinks they used to date.
I got the idea from the start that they are siblings, nothing about their characters hints at being exes

felt the exact same. we only got the surface level of Jimmy's past. We still don't have clear understanding why he has such a bad relationship with his family.
