Is it just me or does this give sequel vibes? The way it was ‘this is the story of how we continue reaching out’, the way AM grabs the ‘end’ to destroy it…man I hope it happens. I really hope it does. The last chapter felt so sparse :(

Yep, and I read interview with his team and it seems like there will be few mha projects in the future, but what are those we don't know, might be spinoffs, movie, or a sequel.
Ending was rly weird, and I think it will lead to a sequel. Author promised that we will get to see Deku's father, but we didn't, he was bating us with few ships during the series, that did not happen.
This ending gives this off feeling, and I rly, rly hope we will get to see more of class A after 8 year gap, tbh it doesn't need to be a long sequel, just enough to show us how every single main character lives outside of their pro hero work.

I think side stories/projects would nicer than a sequel if just to see glimpses of their adult lives. I've see people debate about the shipping issue. I'm BKDK, so I knew mine would never happen (its a shonen manga, lol) but I think he's just bad at relationship building and it was pushed on for him to add it. No KamiJirou at least was wild, but, again, more stuff left open for a sequel. Still not wanting one, but side stories exploring relationships would be pretty cool and cute, especially for an 8 year time skip~ let's see what August 5th brings since they're hyping up a "big announcement" from Horikoshi that day

Well Idk, the build up was there, and was a decent one for a Shonen manga, but the fact that it wasn't concluded was weird, and yeah we should get Kaminari and Jirou, they were goted together.
Still I rly don't get why Uraraka and Deku didn't end up together, since she was in love with him for half of the story, if not more, this is rly wild.

Now that I’ve had the time to think about the final chapter, I realise that it actually wasn’t as abrupt as I thought it was when I first read the last chapter chapter. The reason why I thought that the chapter was abrupt was because to me it felt like there should have been more one on one interaction between Deku and Shigaraki, instead of ending the way it did as a 2 pager interaction between Deku and Shigaraki. But that’s the thing. The past few chapters have basically been interactions between Deku and Tomura, especially when they entered Shigaraki’s memories and the conversation between them. The interactions between them feel so sparse purely because they are weekly/bi-monthly chapters. In toto, though, the two of them have had a nice meaningful interaction. Shigaraki’s death felt perfect and well-placed to me, as sad as I am to see him go. It suits the theme— also imagining how Shigaraki’s death at Deku’s hands/ Deku’s in capability of saving Tomura because he was Tomura himself was so far gone was good. Kinda realistic, not necessarily optimistic. I liked it. I just hope that the entire manga has not come to an end immediately after. We need a few more chapters on post war Society and particularly Deku’s POV for it to feel more complete
I DON'T MIND THE IZUOCHA I JUST MIND WHATEVER THE FUCK THEY DID TO IZUKU (INDIVIDUALLY) AND IZUKU AND BKG (TOGETHER)
