I don't really like this artistic choice for manga. It is beautiful, but it's not very fitting, since the more realistic a style is, the harder it is to make it expressive.
But this was VERY sad.
I hope they both find happiness in a more accepting environment, it's shocking how, even nowadays, there's so much prejudice outside of the big cities.
