gonna need a whole chapter from yoen's pov because i still can't read his personality
they're going steady i don't think the ex would do more than strengthen their relationship
i know vince is not at fault and he's not the bad one, but i can't help but being kinda disappointed on him
i don't know if im too emotional but those first chapters made me soo sad
but then everything became so rushed it went down
Yeah I'm a bit sad they didn't actually discuss the "average" comment. They focused a lot more on the fake confessed he over heard and not the comment that started his self conscious spiral.
Like even if we just got a panel where the guy explains something like "oh I'm sorry, it's just that one guy there is known for going after anyone our group finds attractive and I didn't want him going after you" or something
Like fr I was anticipating a real angst-fest only to blue balled and given a half eaten cold taco of a story. Real good angst in the beginning that could build up to some heightening tension, saddness, loneliness to get cushioned by some sweet comfort, good apology, defending his honor and cute date stuff. Only to get this real nothing burger where everything is lukewarm.
I KNOWW, during the first chapters the author relied a lot on the loss of his confidence, being aware of how people see him, and all the problems that entailed him, that I'm not able to get the idea that everything was "resolved" with a half-vague conversation and a confession, we should've had gotten more
totally, if the author had been able to solve all the problems much slower, it would have been a very complete manga, i still have high expectations of the next chapters tho
