I jest came back from reading the novel. WOW the sheer difference of this and the original...........

I don't wanna spoil too much but the manhua changed some things like linley's master for one. In the manhua his master is a beautiful woman whilst in the novel... It's an old man. Whom Linley considers his Granpa. Then there's Alice's situation as well- a lot was taken out in her side of the story. Though the manhua has it's good parts (art) plot wise the novel is better.

The Novel's already completed which is good :) The manhua helps with the visual aid for the story. The manhua is also more light hearted in comparison to the novel.
The novel has a serious air and has more world building. There's more gore in the novel as well. But it does have it's down sides, the progression in the novel is slower since it has chapters dedicated to Linley training as well as world building.
So if you can't read continuous chapters of Linley training then I recommend the manhua for you, if you can then go ahead in reading the novel. It all comes down to personal preference tbh, imo the novel's better.

If you don't already know the link to the novels here it is :)
