@ the ones what defend crappy translations: you're the same ones who came to the team that gave you chapter 3 with good translation and clean work saying "tHe AuThOr iS gOnNa sUe yOu wAiT fOr oFfiCiAl"
You made them update only privately then y'all gonna have another energy now talking about "wE'Re rEadInG iLlEgAlLy aNyWaY bE hApPy" to the people who want some quality.
Fake a$$ btches. Hypocrites.
And by the way, volunteering for free work doesn't excuse crappy work. If you're not gonna do it something correctly just because you're doing it fog free then don't do it at all out of respect for people.
As someone who updated on this website I be damned if I ever used "free work" as an excuse to neglect people.
So fck off.

Guys there's a team coming to pick this up!
Dont upload over them they're coming:

I read it like 3 years ago, and I still can't get over it. IT WAS SO GOOD.
I had stopped at the very tragic ending before epilogue. But I'm glad I came back here because apparently it doesn't end like that!
For any other story I wouldn't have been happy about the guy ending up with someone who raped him but their story is so singular, they have their own bubble that is difficult to understand for us commoners.
I think a lot of people lack understanding. Yes they're beyond fcked up, their relationship is being fcked up, and they absolutely don't live in ignorance of that.
The author made sure that they fully realized how bad it was so it's not like it was made into a fairy tale. And I know in the real world there are people who have very very fcked up but they have something we don't get.
Sometimes we just have to accept that we won't agree with everything, not everything will follow social norms, social moors, and that is something tribunal of the internet needs to understand.
Life is all about gray, people are individuals and they will make choices that suit them but not most people.
The uke was so incredibly unhappy, man I couldn't stand it, l'm not gonna wish for him to be unhappy just to be woke.
And at the end of the day, "good writing" is absolutely not about who follows social norms the best. It's about the way you write characters, make your story "credible" by driving the reader in the characters' train of thoughts, and it's really sad that nowadays this type of story can be called "bad" because people only care about seeking social validation. Get down from your white horse.
That being said, on the characters now:
I love Kyungsoo, was rooting for him the whole story, I respect his life choices as I saw his whole thought process (also clearly I'm biased in my understanding of his choices because if you follow me you know Im "controversial characters' therapist 1.0) but, really, I just want him to be happy, to feel at peace and do whatever he wants or feels like doing because he honestly deserves that freedom, no matter what he chooses.
For Yule, I know everyone hates him but I love him, not because of what he did, duh. More like in spite of what he did. I have very strong parental instincts, and children are blank canvas.
They are what you shape them to be, and they're always a product of environment. I believe someone isn't a monster as long as you see correlation between environment, physiological condition and their actions.
So of course to me Yule isn't a monster, he has a child-like manner of not understanding how the world works. He basically saw a human being as a talking jacket, not even to be mean or to look down on Kyungsoo, but solely because he truly lacks discernment for his age.
When I see him I wanna teach him how to live and think properly, with a lot of love because he doesn't understand that either. Every time I think characters like him I regret not being in the story to save them.
So yeah I can't hate him, only wish for him to turn into a functionning human being
I love the seme, I love his vibe, I love his way of talking...
For a second I was gonna slap the uke when he acted all desperate like that cockroach Bum.
But I like that power move at the end
I'm really enjoying this so far
