Honestly reading the novel that is something that I keep saying multiple times. Honestly he's not even the worst toxic person and genuinely loves the MC.

I mean yeah that's true, in his defense the MC was going to get sexually assaulted. Then again I'm the type of guy who's reading this wondering why the just didn't talk several times in the novel(Then again the MC is dense a fuck). The MC is a human hamster I swear.

It's not even that bad given the context. There is indeed much worse than him. This is literally nothing. That's why I'm actually surprised that somehow I find him insane.
MC isn't dense. It's just not actually normal. I only read this because I like toxic BL but if you think there's nothing toxic with ML's "love" please seek therapy. There's a line between enjoying toxic BL and genuinely believing in your heart that the character is based.

I'm a guy so my take on a lot of guy things are going to be different. I never said anyone is based. I think some toxic ML's are fun to read and I love those who come to realizing their feelings (I'm a huge fan of "Traces of the Sun" as well as "Ordinary Citizen/Citizen A"). **looks back up** No where did I say that nothing was wrong with the ML. In fact he's a huge red flag for multiple reasons. I just said the MC is a bit on the dense side. The only thing I can think of is me saying "He genuinely loves the MC"
It was in the comments for a novel I was reading and I can't let it go. It kind of fits their personality and I can't not laugh when I see this same character type.
