I really love this story...
the only disappointing part is her brother.
The count and second prince and even the princess has helped the MC more than him. oh.. the youngest sibling too is more of a support than him.
I dunno, half of the story was like waiting for him. that part I can accept that its difficult to return, err but he was so casual about her "funeral" ? then he returned, and more disappointment piles up.
untl the end, he could not even spare a day for his little sister's wedding day. I mean he has a lifetime to go on that trip, why not even dropby even for an hour?
Still, I love this story, great ML and supporting characters.
The 2nd prince and the count was so cool too, they did not force their feelings onto the MC and supported her with their lives. A silly part of mine ships them both when they were out hiding
just what happened to the genes of the Lombardi that only Shannanet and Gallahan inherited the good parts? I can imagine the frustration of grandpa and his people.

The old woman I am very sure is Lucy, who is trying to keep MC and ML apart just like Rael is trying to unite them. You've seen Rael during their visit to MC's parents.
The royal family is bound by a deal with Orobas, who is actually a devil. They can't go against the Pope. So their way out will be to renounce the throne.
still a scam imo hence why they secretly kidnaps people and do shady stuffs under the guise of being good

They are not evil, but they are bound to follow Orobas. The ones who didn't, died, as we see in passing. Also, it's only the ones with blue hair if I'm not wrong. The Royal Family also wants the downfall of Orobas, so in the end they will step down from the throne so Orobas won't have any more power through them.
I hope we get an extra chapter about Blaine and Ver.
I mean I wont complain with Van's route as fanservice although honestly its quite lacking.
the entire story if full of potential and is already great but its like they have just given up after Carter incident which, yes, is the major conflict that they could wrapped up much better.
they could've expanded on Ver's thoughts and doubts about her and Blaine, that they can one day be enemies only to have themthfully fully realized that wont happen with her admitting who she really is.. another aspect that should've been explored is the sorcerer that helped her.
This has so much potential to become better, but I guess its okay. the ride was fun
I don't mind reading the extra ch.. its nice to see the difference but makes me appreciate the relationship of Ver with Blaine.
just like what Ver said after they did "it" they do not love each other but they still did it. I understand our deprived Van going for it too fast, but could that cause him harm in the end?
this is just a bold take on the matter, Van knows so much that he is skipping so much things. Like with Ver's personality she may go for either men but will she really love Van as much as Blaine? what if she will still go for Blaine? bec at this point the prince is just speed running things taking care of Ver's goal, leaving her mostly uninvolved. we readers understand him, and hes already gone through his feelings but Ver isn't
what I like the buildup of Blaine and Ver's relationship is that they went through a process from being suspicious about each other then becoming an accomplice to being a friend then falling in love. altho the wedding is expected but quite abrupt like there was a missing part before it. Their first lovemaking seems so genuine as well for both of them.
if the extra chapters will really go for Van in the end, helpfully they will have some development together as well bec it only seems meaningful to Van and our girl just riding on it coz why not
Well said!! I also feel like this is VERTA'S revenge, she needs to pull the strings herself so she can live in peace. With Van, he's doing it all on his own and it takes away Verta's intention to take revenge in her own hands
