i've reread this quite a number of times. I love the extra stories so much. I think there's more like the one with their daughter. The OG Raelina really did mess up, its not her fate thats the problem but herself. like our Raeli said, she was doing so well in her body because of how she is as a person.
She has a very nice loving family, they do deserve a.daughter better than her. anyhow I keep wanting for more chapters.
its great to have peace but eventually, her being a saviour will be revealed. the royal family and the people there seems nice and acccomodating so I am not that worried.
the problems are the ones outside like foreign countries or the demon king. other than that I love this couple.
not overly sweet but not rigid..just the right blend. they are mature but still have that innocent and gentle atmosphere.

ep. 11 : it's implied that Rykell must left Maybelle in the Cyclamen main house because of a convenant between Emperor+Luther Cyclamen with Rykell. The convenant is already broken when Maybelle left the manor with her own will. Rykell is forbidden to meet his daughter at all cost, so he opt to left her in his elder brother's care and cut the communication.
He already guessed that Maybelle won't get a good life, but didn't expect that the abuse is crossing the line (by not giving her magic immunity which is essential for a future mage).
Rykell himself grown up in the same condition as Maybelle (but he got tortured because HE IS TALENTED and everyone were envy). Luther pulled worser prank than Claudel (sending dead animals in Rykell's bedroom is part of the routine beside the hit from the father).
ep.16 Von Kyle mentioned that Rykell has 2 chains. One of them is broken, which concerning the Cyclamen. Maybelle is the "proof of loyalty" used to bind Rykell to abide. in the ep. 46, the guard mage called Rykell "the former head of Cyclamen". it's bloody easy to conclude that Rykell lost his position and now his brother is the head of the family.
the other chain is Rykell's main (the golden chain), and his wife (Galatea) is his proof of loyalty. Galatea is already dead but somehow the chain still exist.

oh wow what a sick way to repay those who are talented and loyal to the royal family. thats slavery ..too cruel. now I understand why daddy Rykell wants to turn the whole palace upside down. I fully support him.

in episode 53 Rykell explained that the "convenant" actually is a voluntary ritual by mage to prove their loyalty towards the 1st emperor (she was an awesome woman, so she kinda deserve it, not sure if she was happy lol.. and the best sword in Kyle family is actually one of the 1st emperor's creation). and it became a tradition
yah, we got the usual corruption through generations case here T_T, of course not all of the emperor's descendants are good person, and the convenant became a tool to bind and coerce the transcendent and heroes. The previous king before this one is not a good person either...
I like the story but it kinda lacks something maybe because there are only few chapters. its like she agreed on their terms so easily. that is not too much of a problem tho.. I am also unsure who is the ml. rn its most likely the ex-king but then again the other guy might develop feelings for her too.
the part were the ex-king said she can have kids with whoever she likes in the future gives me a vibe that Rodan or whatshisname will step up in the future.

No tia is older then Lawrence. She was bronze first from the mother's first marriage.
