I've read a couple of comments comparing the black dragon to both Raon from TCF and Toothless from how to train your dragon and...like...Do y'all have eyes? The designs look NOTHING alike?
And if the comments are based off the colors, it's such a stretch to say the design was replicated? TCF did NOT invent black dragons with blue eyes? And neither did HTTYD. Blacl dragons are cool, and are often depicted as the "special ones" I mean????? Drogon is black, and so was Maleficient which came waaay before TCF and HTTYD.
As for the rest, Toothless is small and has a sleek design to be speedy and Raon is a chubby king, so y'all's claims are silly and ignorant.

It is not often I hate side stories so much. I even believe the side story undermined the actual storyline.
I hated the haircut. I hated the new characters. I hated that the story was more about something completely new and did not actually address the people and relationships we already knew about.
I hated that the new character was so much like Ashtarte. She even got to learn the magic that made the MC special in like...two chapters??
The mc also got kidnapped??? My girl can read all the languages and use ALL the magic. It's cannon that she can teleport through nations for fucks sake. And you're telling me she got kidnapped?!?!?!?
