It is not often I hate side stories so much. I even believe the side story undermined the actual storyline.
I hated the haircut. I hated the new characters. I hated that the story was more about something completely new and did not actually address the people and relationships we already knew about.
I hated that the new character was so much like Ashtarte. She even got to learn the magic that made the MC special in like...two chapters??
The mc also got kidnapped??? My girl can read all the languages and use ALL the magic. It's cannon that she can teleport through nations for fucks sake. And you're telling me she got kidnapped?!?!?!?

I am glad she is okay and that the ML beat the shit out og the guy. But I could not enjoy any of it because my girl has been traveling through the snow in a NIGHTGOWN.
