Honestly, my favorite comment sections for stories with weird and questionable relationship dynamics is when it only gets like a niche fanbase and attention and the comments are all talking about how it’s weird but at least we’re all here for it. Like, a community that isn’t constantly debating(which I’m trying to avoid cause they get really toxic sometimes) and we all accept our own degeneracy.

Right! The cover and description tell people what they're getting into, but then they act all shocked because they felt 'duped' for some reason. There's a reason a summary and reviews are there. It's one thing to give ot a chance and then find out it didn't vibe with you but another to know you don't like a certain trope, read it, and then disparage it in the comments. If you find out you don't like it or you have some actual constructive criticism then go ahead and comment. If you're just going to spew hate then get out and find something you actually like. (I remember reading some really messed up shit but since it never got on popular page, all the comments were people who were there for that story and the comments were so funny and on topic lol like it was everybody acknowledging the fucked up nature of the story but we had an attitude of “it’s fucked up but shit it’s also hot so let’s all die together in this degenerate hellhole lol” I can only hope for a similar comment section to bless this manhwa lol)

True! I know I've read some things that keep me up at night with how disturbing it was but at least I knew what I was getting into. Half the time I get in to this side of smut because of the psychological stuff or just the smexy smut. People just have to know their boundaries and let the people that can handle toxic relationships in their reading enjoy it. We know that it's wrong in real life, but sometimes you just want to play on the dangerous side in a safe way. If you can't differentiate between real life and fantasy then take a break.

When this gets a few more chapters it'll hopefully weed out the weak so those that enjoy it can have some fun.

Cause a lot of people seperate fiction from reality, and if nobody is getting harmed by it, why give a shit? Sometimes people like reading stuff that is messed up or have certain dynamics. Like, I hate stuff like scat and vore, but I’m not gonna condemn it if other people like reading that stuff.

I’ve also seen a lot of bl deal with this subject matter on a more serious note but because it wasn’t that popular, only the people who were looking for it read it and the comment section wasn’t filled with the usual comments. I was just pointing out that trend on mangago.

Also, if you read a lot of smut, the tropes found in this is honestly par for the course, unless you exclusively read vanilla stuff that has consent and fluffy relationships with minimal angst(which I love too, but sometimes I just want a slightly concerning relationship).

Honestly I’m just of the opinion to let people enjoy what they like if it doesn’t harm anybody in real life, since there ARE people who enjoy storylines like these(for me, I just enjoy the doting relationship and the surprise the mc gets when the ml starts showing romantic feelings for them. Not really a fetish or kink. Just like the relationship dynamic and certain storylines that are part of these types of settings. Many others probably feel the same and they’re not just predators who like the stuff you listed… probably idk lol)


And honestly, the way this manhwa is handling everything and the tone of the series, considering it’s a gangster story, is actually pretty vanilla compared to other stories. Like from a scale of 1-10(from vanilla fluff to hardcore holy shit what did I just read) I give this one like maybe a 6 so far? You kinda have to take note of the tone of the series and whether they take certain topics with realistic seriousness or just lighthearted manhwa logic.

(Honestly, if it was taking the topics you said with a more serious note I might understand what you’re saying, but my original comment was just about how whenever a story with more sensitive subject matters get popular, the comments are usually walls of hate, with a few people who like it voicing their annoyance at people constantly twittering the same point. It’s not going to change anything, so it gets tiring for people who enjoy the series. I just find it funny whenever I see it happen though so idk lol)

it seemed more like a mana amplifier potion than a hair growth potion. like it forcibly increased her mana (since she was in pain). besides the flying dog still thought she wasn't a witch when he felt all that magic coming from her
