the reviews being good r probably from when this was only 1 volume. i promise the story seemed better back then in a 1 volume vacuum . volume 2 lowkey just ruined a lot of things and made everyone mad
Okay that made a lot of sense. I think I’m also a bit biased since I like stories where the top falls first and chases after the bottom more. It was meh to me, but volume 2 ruined it. But that’s probably again cause of my bias for certain plot lines
