I was wondering how exactly rushed the ending was and holy shit XD they legit packed a new conflict, described how the conflict affected the mcs, and then resolved that conflict in one chapter with no explanation lol
Also, to create an ending for the story, I like to think that they got his dad to be arrested(cause they mentioned something about interpol) and the ml used his time back with his family to work from the inside. Rather than the “not meeting or talking for a while before the sudden reunion” I rather think that he was secretly working with mc to send his dad to jail and they used their assistants to contact each other basically. And, the ml came back and had that reunion with mc the night before they decided to put their plan to action and get the dad arrested. Both the aro guy and the dickhead college friend then experience their own downfall from the dad getting arrested.
I’m deciding to read this cause I read stuff where the mc is a girl who takes in a boy and trains them and then the boy comes back super handsome and in love with the mc before, so deciding not to read this would be showing my double standards lol. It’s actually not that bad and there hasn’t been any fan service so far so I’m actually enjoying it! I just kinda wish they made mc super handsome too or something lol— or at least shave his scruff so he doesn’t look as old compared to fl lol—

I love mc and yuuri. This isn’t like the other stories where the mc was neglectful cause she was too much in love with the emperor and was just a jackass, but because everybody else stopped her from spending time with her son and seeing him get pulled away from her was heartbreaking. I really hope we get at least a few chapters of the ml’s pov where we see him fully wallowing in regret, before they actually both fall in love with each other, cause this man deserves so much pain, even if he’s emotionally stupid. Like, hgggfff he’s annoying the shit outta me, and mc better not forgive him easily.
I want him to also find out the pain mc has gone through and what happened in the previous timeline and how fucked everything became because of his actions. He may not have wanted that outcome, but being ignorant doesn’t just absolve him of all fault. He chose to stay ignorant and not reach out, when he fully could’ve, as he had the most power in that situation.
Also, I hope the reason Lucas was there was because maybe the past yuuri and him had bonded over their bad home life situations or something. Like, they both decided to kill their families because they didn’t have the love they should’ve gotten. Like, they both got mentally screwed with because of it and built a brotherly bond to help them both get some twisted type of revenge, rather than it being cause Lucas manipulated yuuri.
Ngl, I kinda feel happy reading this not only for the fun story, but it also sorta feels like I’m getting a redemption arc from inso’s law cause they look like the main leads I wanted to get together in inso’s law before I read spoilers lol—

Bro, honestly really like the way this story portrays how even a really good relationship can turn to shit and you need to move on and think about the present person, not the one you fell in love with. Like, their original story can be a romance story in itself, but the guy changed and is completely different from who he was when he was younger and that can happen. He’s no longer the guy she fell in love with and I can only hope she realizes this and fully moves on before entering a relationship with the ml. Cause if they have a relationship and/or sleep together before she’s fully separated herself from her previous relationship, I can already feel the angst coming

Am I the only one who wants a raw scene of Hestia telling everyone that she was there when Cael died in the first timeline? Like how raw would that be? And also show why she cares about this revenge so much. Cause for them, they don’t realize how much they ignored the mentally unwell Cael. Hestia saw firsthand how none of them even tried to contact Cael in the first life. You’d think after the first report of Cael trying to end himself, they would ally least reach out. But no. They didn’t. In the end, their relationship fell apart even without Hestia’s interference and I really wish she’ll tell them about that and see the looks on their faces.
