Finally read through the whole series. There was some parts that made me angry and irritated (the haruka girlfriends story made me angry since they got off with not even a slap of a wrist AFTER KIDNAPPING SOMEONE. Also, the girl that was the girlfriend of the yakuza person? Like, she was planning to get people to assault Risa?? Like how did none of that get addressed. Nothing bad even happened to her like??) but it’s still such a good story for when you want to get those shoujo feels haha.
I love how there was some trans representation with Seiko, but I wish she didn’t just get played for comedic relief. I wish she got her own man at the end, since every side character did.
Ughhh they could’ve made their love story much more interesting without this stupid misunderstanding. I wish the mc just stated outright that she wanted to end the engagement. It’s like the ml is misunderstanding that the mc actually doesn’t dislike him. I wish the mc was more open with her dislike of stuff. I understand that there needs to be romance, but I wish it was slower and after the ml realized he was being ghosted for years cause she legit didn’t want him lol. Rn I get annoyed cause he doesn’t know that and the mc isn’t saying shit. Like, agh I feel like such a sweet potato rn.
When I read the title, I wished this story was one where the mc is legit reincarnated as the official caretaker of the world tree, away from other people. However, she meets the ml one day or something. Not this story where she’s constantly dragged around and forced to do things she doesn’t want. I don’t care if they don’t mean any harm and it’ll help her in the future. I don’t care if the reason she doesn’t like it is because of her knowledge of the book and misunderstanding stuff, it’s annoying seeing the mc being forced to do stuff she doesn’t want to. I wish there was another reason for her staying and helping the world tree.
Also, the black haired guy already felt like second male lead and I knew I was going to root for him since I was hating how they were going with the love story rn. I’m not staying for this. I can already feel an ulcer coming from how annoyed I was going to get.
