Based off the comments about a cliffhanger, I’m debating on finishing this when the second season starts lol. Cause rn I’m like at a good point near the end of season 1 before the next arc starts lol
Every once in a while I come back to this and read the latest few chapters and it just gets weirder and weirder with each chapter. I then stop reading it for a bit before doing the same thing again XD like it’s so weird but I gotta keep coming back to see what’s in the next installment of crazy batshit things they’re gonna do next lol

Man, if somebody just started talking about upper class or lower class in the context of popularity and sht, I would just start laughing. My thing was about how HE realized he was in love with him. Like, in the recent chapter he said something about how he realized he liked him earlier, but I’m like WHERE. There was no scene where he remotely goes “oh shit I like him” but then suddenly he’s speaking as if he’s gone through that moment??? XD

lol it’s not bad, it was just this recent chapter that left me with confusion. Cause mc suddenly says how he realized he loved the ml in the earlier part of the chapter when he never did. You don’t even get a “omg, I can’t believe this feeling was actually love all along” type of scene. I’ve just read multiple bls like that recently and I’m just suprised at how it keeps happening lol.
Man, I still can’t get behind the thought process of these types of families in these types of manhwas. Like, no matter how bad the husband candidate or how much the other daughter doesn’t want to marry them, why would you place the child you despise and hate in a rank even higher than your own XD like, you actively married them off to a super powerful family just because of bad rumors or cause the other child doesn’t want to marry them or some shit like that. It always just ends up biting them in the butt and they wonder why? Like, I get it if they have like the same power or are even more powerful than them, but like nope.
Not to mention, the ml in this one doesn’t even have like rumors about him killing everybody or some sht. (Like I can kinda get the ones where they go “every person that was meant to be his wife died or disappeared” or some shit.)
Lol sorry but this just feels like author didn’t know how to make up for the ml’s fuckups and realized the current chapters weren’t making him sympathetic, no matter how much he cried, so they decided to just throw a random girl character under the bus since y’know, all girls are enemies in bl or some shit lol XD
Honestly should’ve just made him own up to his own mistakes, without trying to place the blame on someone else. He still did an asshole move, no matter what his motives actually were. We also saw that he was getting some type of enjoyment with it about the bet and technically in the earlier chapters, he only saw the uke at the bar when his friends pointed it out. Like, it just feels so out of left field to be like “um actually, he knew him before that and was trying to help out his sister.”
What I want would be for the uke to move to Russia or wherever and live there for a few years before returning. They meet again, AND THEN they can start the healing process.
Also again, idk WHEN he fell in love and why. Like, there literally was no connection between the two. Just sex. So it really doesn’t make the seme’s whole tantrum actually believable at all.
Also, bro somehow I read through this entire thing, not realizing he was the brother of the childhood friend’s wife, and not the childhood friend XD I’m fucking stupid lol

I liked the concept at first but uke was making really bad decisions(and I get that he’s naive and doesn’t understand things but smh he’s so immature hgffff) now, he’s behaving like a stalker, instead of worrying about his current financial situation(legit I feel like his brother rn)
Anyway, he’s annoying the fck out of me and really turning me off from this story.
