All in all, it’s nice to see Tita being adorable again, the last scene with him was adorable and I wanted to bully him XD omg what a dork.
My guess is that the temple gave her the medicine to surprised her powers because they least have a saintess prepared, and the mc’s healing abilities are a danger to their power. Idk how the baron is involved, but he either knows and is cooperating for reasons unknown, or he’s being threatened or manipulated by the temple.
The Mx felt that pain because her power has been surprised all her life, which has caused the massive build up of magical energy and it’s taken a toll on her body. Not to mention, she’s never used magic before, so she would never know how it would feel in the first place. People with magic learn and grow with it as a child, but suddenly getting a new thing sprung on you as an adult would be jarring. It’s like getting wings suddenly one day. It feels strange, you don’t know how to use it, and it’ll probably ache from growing pains and unusual movements.
