I find Rashta's mindset kinda fascinating. She stole Navier's husband, hurt her friends, continuously badmouths her and embarrasses her and then is genuinely hurt, when Navier shows hostility towards her. Like girl, what did you expect?

Altough he is a terrible person as well, I can get behind his logic so far. He thinks that Navier should support him as an empress, because it's technically her job and they used to actually be good friends before so they do care about each other to some degree. Also he is an emperor and was basically raised with sense of entitlement, yet he still tries to rationalize his actions, because deep down he knows, he is in the wrong, so he does some crazy mind gymnastics to find plausible excuses for himself. What I mostly don't get about Rashta is, why would she even care for Navier's approval, while she is jealous of her position as Sovieshu's wife and actively undermines her. She also never provides excuses for herself. It's like she has no continousness, she believes, she can't do no wrong and should be loved by everyone for being pretty and cheerful. I can't imagine her stabbing someone and only feeling bad after that person calls her a bitch.
"Is he hotter than me?"
"Yes he looks like a centipede"
I think the translation might be a bit off with thi one.
