Eclis initially wanted to use Penelope and only thought she was a stupid bitch. Then he became yandere and he knew she never saw him romantically so he decided to work together with Yvonne(the real villain). He was thinking "even if I don't get your heart I'll atleast get you she'll". Then he knew he fucked up and he died trying to save Penelope.
As for Yvonne, idk when but the real Yvonne is dead. She died and her body is being possessed by an evil force that's been trying to destroy everything.

He didn't die actually. After the war with yvonne, he gone missing for a few years. Penelope then met him again, but he lost all his memories. Penelope thought that's better than him remembering the painful past. His ending is really saaaaad.
