First thing and foremost, thank you to the translater, editors, cleaners etc. they gave us a good quality of chapters. The characters we're well-written, and the art was so scrumptious the author and the artist is so genius and gifted I almost faint to those facecard i thought it was wholesome and cutesy, the kids at first not very demure but... BUT as I go through, the plot thickens. There's so much to unfold here, the church causing a riot, killing shuri and war unfolding w/ safavad, then regression. Shuri's death was brutal by how they describe it, the kiddos regrets, pain and suffering really tore me and I actually cried. Next, Ludovika and shuri's portrait were really alike, and it explains why bcuz of Johannes/yohan/johan creepy obsession about vika. I sympathize shuri's being controlled bcuz all her life people we're just dragging here and there, kids were being pain in the butt and so much more. I always keep my fingers crossed when Jeremy's pov, Im not into mother turn into my wife kind of trope also the incest accusation (makes me life bcuz irl many royals/nobles are inbred way back too but its fiction so...) elias having a middle child moment, the twins are cutesy, they're very smart and also mature.
But what I really like is how the key characters who build shuri have their POV explains it all, the details of mental unstablity, the mental effects of regression it was all probably due to butterfly effect. Very disturbing but it took my interest to read more, not too cliche. I know some of the readers here know secret lady, I love it and I hope more manhwa plots like this.
Kinda have a mixed feelings about this manhwa, its not good but its not that bad either. It has a potential but they rlly don't know how to execute, the smut is meh
