I really dislike these siblings. Why is Davi keeping ether of them around? Dietrich is useless as a guard risking his chargers safety TWICE and now we’ve got a lying red head that doesn’t know her place? I might drop this because of the obvious need to keep them in the story just for plot drama
The sister dips out pretty quick. They end up explaining it but the reason Davi keeps Dieter around despite him clinging on to Astra even after the shit she’s done is because Davi is desperate to keep his family around in the same way Dieter is for Astra. Astra just wants to use Davi, Davi wants Dieter to stay with him as family, and Dieter wants Astra to stay with him and keep their family together.
I dropped it and forgot all about It until this comment. Still I understand why the twins were there. I was just expressing my frustration with the storyline.
The story felt good but bad at the same time due to pacing and exposition.
1. The Omega that was basically stalking the mc was just forgiven over text? So easily with no added explanation?

I have 3 theories for the Crown Prince.
1. He is ether a puppet for the Empress who’s using necromancy
2. An entirely different person real crown prince is dead long gone.
3. He is the crown prince, he really did come back but is being threatened in some way and is secretly obsessed with Gilbert.
